American Foundation for the Blind

The American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) is a national nonprofit that expands possibilities for people with vision loss. AFB's priorities include broadening access to technology; elevating the quality of information and tools for the professionals who serve people with vision loss; and promoting independent and healthy living for people with vision loss by providing them and their families with relevant and timely resources. AFB's work in these areas is supported by the strong presence the organization maintains in Washington, DC, ensuring the rights and interests of people with vision loss are represented in our nation's public policies.

Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired

The mission of the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired is to promote and provide services in the areas of education, employment, independence and eye health through informed choice and partnership with persons who are blind or visually impaired, their families and the community.

Lighthouse International

Founded in New York City in 1905, Lighthouse International is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving vision and to providing critically needed vision and rehabilitation services to help people of all ages overcome the challenges of vision loss. Through clinical services, education, research, and advocacy, the Lighthouse enables people with low vision and blindness to enjoy safe, independent and productive lives.

New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center

The New Jersey State Library Talking Book & Braille Center (TBBC) provides free public library service to New Jersey residents of all ages who cannot easily read standard printed materials due to a visual impairment, physical handicap or a learning disability.

The Seeing Eye

Since 1929, The Seeing Eye has partnered with people who are blind who seek to enhance their independence, dignity, and self-confidence through the use of Seeing Eye dogs. The Seeing Eye is located in Morristown, NJ

De Witt & Associates

For over 20 years, De Witt & Associates has been training others in the most efficient and effective use of their assistive technology. Nationally known Assistive Technology trainers, De Witt & Associates teaches hundreds of individuals who are blind and visually impaired each year. De Witt's AccessTech classes are fun and free-of-charge. Little or no computer experience is needed!
