Alan Graham – President and Chairman, Board of Trustees

Mr. Graham was educated at Williams College, Harvard University, and the University of Grenoble. He has been an officer and director of large international companies in the publishing, financial services / brokerage, pharmaceutical, and consulting industries. With over 30 years of Board experience, he currently manages two companies that he founded eight years ago: a technology and management consulting corporation and an investment management and advisory firm. Mr. Graham resides in West Orange, New Jersey with his wife Donna, an IT Systems Manager and graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University.


Laura Gardner-Lang, Vice President, Board of Trustees

Ms. Gardner-Lang is a retired educator. She earned a B.A. from Barnard College, and an M.A. in Education of the Blind from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has worked extensively for cultural organizations including the Metropolitan Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Natural History and the National Endowment for the Arts. In conjunction with others, Ms. Gardner-Lang developed a program for accessing the arts to people with vision impairments. She resides in Denville, New Jersey with her husband and two children.


Anthony Capriglione, Secretary and Treasurer, Board of Trustees

Mr. Capriglione is a retired WWII veteran and Civil Star and Purple Heart recipient. He is very active in Veterans Affairs at the local, state and national level. He is a member of AMVET Post 30 in Nutley and a past AMVET State Commander and National Officer. He is a member of the Essex County Veteran’s Committee and Constable No.17 for the Township of Nutley. Mr. Capriglione was educated at Seton Hall University. He worked at the State of NJ as investigator and examiner for NJ real estate commission. He has over 20 years experience in the financial industry as Vice President of a mortgage firm and CEO of Dollar Savings Bank. Currently he is President and CEO of R.L.C Enterprises which specializes in mortgages.


Jane Greenwald, Member, Board of Trustees

Jane Greenwald, Member, Board of Trustees, holds a MSEd. in Personnel Services from Monmouth University and a B.S. in History from New York University. Ms. Greenwald is a Partner in the global executive search firm, Amrop Battalia Winston. The Firm was founded in 1963 and has seven offices in the US, 82 global offices and specializes in retained search for executive level individuals in a wide variety of industries and functions. Prior to her search career, Ms. Greenwald founded the College Bound Advisory Services, was the Director of Corporate Relations for Wagner College where she was responsible for seeking corporate and individual grants, and a Work-Study Coordinator in the Financial Aid Office of Bloomfield College. She began her career as a high school history teacher. Ms. Greenwald is a past President of the Millburn Short Hills Scholastic Boosters, a fund raising organization providing college scholarships to students and she is a member of the Scholarship and Development Committee of the Executive Women of New Jersey. Ms. Greenwald has been a resident of Millburn/Short Hills for 30 years.


Annie Mondragon, Member, Board of Trustees

Annie Mondragon graduated from Felician College with a degree in Accounting. Before graduation she was hired by Untracht Early, LLC a public accountant firm in Florham Park. She currently works at Nisivoccia & Co specializing in audits for not-for-profit organizations and private schools. Ms. Mondragon has resided in Newton for the past 5 years.


Thomas M. Murphy Esq., Member, Board of Trustees

Mr. Murphy, a graduate of Cornell University and Rutgers Law School, has a passion for all issues confronting our aging loved ones. A member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Tom has become a leading authority on Veteran's Aid and Attendance Pension Benefits. Tom joins the practice of elder law from the national accounting firm of BDO Seidman LLP, where he was National Director of Human Resources. Tom is very active in the Morris County Care Givers Coalition, the Guardianship Association of NJ and for the NJ Alzheimer's Association. Tom is a Fellow of the NJ Partnership for Leadership, has chaired the Core Curriculum Commission for the NJ Department of Education, and has served as a member of the Morris School District Board of Education. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University, has chaired the Warren County Business Alliance, and served as the first president of the Warren County Human Relations Commission. Tom and his wife Sharon live in the Butterworth section of Morris Township, and are the proud parents of two teenage sons. Tom has also been a board member for Morris County Youth Hockey, Morris Township Recreation and Morristown Little League.


Michael J. Guarino, Jr., Member, Board of Trustees

Mr. Guarino was educated at Seton Hall University and Fordham University Law School. He has been a member of the United State Marine Corps as a Major, Judge Advocate General’s Office. Mr. Guarino worked for over 20 years as a lawyer with the Warner Lambert Company in the international, real estate, mergers and acquisitions and labor and employment areas. With over 16 years of financial advisory experience, Mr. Guarino is CEO and Financial Advisor at Guarino Wealth Management, which he owns with his son, that specializes in retirement preparation, saving for college, tax efficient multi-generational wealth transfer, estates, trusts, life insurance, and all aspects of financial planning including, financial plans, portfolio management, managed money, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and options. Mr. Guarino is actively involved in the Denville community where he is a minister at the Notre Dame Church and St. Clare’s Hospital. He has been a Denville resident for 37 years.


Jatinder K. Gulati, Member, Board of Trustees

Mr. Gulati is a retired Manager of Projects for GPU, Parsippany NJ and Indian Point Energy Center, Peekskill, NY. He retired in 2005, after working 43 years in Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Electric Utilities in India, U.K and USA. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in New York State. Mr. Gulati earned B.S. degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from India and a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Tennessee. He is a Volunteer in the Friendly Visitor Program of VNA Basking Ridge, NJ. He is a member of Board of Trustees of the NJ Foundation for the Blind since 1999.
